Had a major axle issue on my caravan & Graham dropped everything & drive 10km to inspect. Couldn't do much at the time so we limped to their workshop the following morning whereby they jacked it up. Issue with the dura torque system which is a specialised job to be undertaken only by an agent in Ashburton apparently. A big shout out to Graham for being salt of the earth & very helpful. Thank you!
Took my car in for a WOF, brakes, fluids, filters and a tuneup. Once Cov the workshop manager got stuck in he found the parking brake had seized hard on, needed new calipers and brake shoes. They had to order all this in. Communication was first class, they kept me informed and checked with me all the way as to whether I OK'd the further work. Did an awsome job and at a fair price. To top it all off they offer you a courtesy car if you're from Dunedin. I can't speak highly enough of Graham, Cov and the team at Calder Alco. Summed up as old school service and pride in the job they do. Don't hesitate to get them to do any mechanical/garage work you need done...
Graham was outstanding today. We had an issue with our car that was immediately looked at for us. This was between the Christmas and New Year period when he was already busy with other customers but managed to make time for us, explain what was wrong and the process to fix it, all within the hour for a very reasonable price. I'm a future customer. Absolutely. I did a very dumb thing this morning and so cold called them for help. Graham said he'd look and advise. Drove with a bunjee holding the back door shut. Graham was very kind, did some magic and waved me off 5 mins later. That, right there, is thoughtful professional service.
