At first, why I chose Precision to look at and quote my car was due to the way Nathan, the owner, answered my phone call. I had rung many different mechanics around Dunedin that day and found them very disconnected and frustrating as a customer. Nathan, on the other hand, answered very warmly, friendly and professionally with kind regard and sound advice.
Within 10 minutes of our phone call, I felt comfortable enough to drop my car off.
The following day after, his tech mechanic rung me with a detailed explaination of my mechanical issues along with a reasonable quote for it to be fixed.
The next day, I was picking up my car fully fixed and before the long weekend of ANZAC.
The Nathan and his team here at Precision get a 5+ star rating from me due to their timely professionalism, their technical advice of my car, the affordability of their service and the professionalism with my inquires.
I will definitely be suggesting to others of contacting them and I look forward to using their Mechanical Services again in the future.

Can't thank Nathan enough for how much he helped when my van broke down outside Dunedin while travelling the South Island. I was on a time crunch and had to leave the van with them while I went to the North Island. The team were very understanding regarding the position I was in, were incredibly helpful, honest and transparent about what was needed to be done and my best options. I ended up scrapping the van for parts. While I didnt end up getting any repairs done by Precision Mechanical, Nathan was still happy to provide me with some help and guidance.

enquired about getting some bushings replaced on my car. They said they could have a look at it and give me a quote free of charge,
They ended up giving me a fair quote and did a efficient and good job replacing the bushes.

Super trustful and honest!
As an Asian who drives BMW, I get charged high price every where.
Previously I had to paid 1000+ dollars to fix an engine oil linking problem, or 700 dollars to buy a LED turning signal bubble (adding the bubble installing labor fee, the cost is more than 1000+).
But here, also an engine oil linking problem, they only charged me $600! I almost cry when I heard this price, while I have to pay double price to swap a bloody turning bubble.
