I ordered a side of mushrooms for $5 and was genuinely shocked when the plate arrived with just three mushrooms, each only slightly bigger than a 50c coin. For the price, I expected a lot more substance. While they were cooked well, the portion was so underwhelming it felt more like a garnish than a proper side. Definitely not good value, and it left a bad taste considering the cost.
Would recommend reviewing the portion sizes or pricing to better match expectations.

The place was recommended by a fellow backpacker so i'd thought i'll come by to take a look. Not a big place but does have both indoor and outdoors sitting. Everyone's okie to share the table. Minimalistically decorated. Variety on the menu.
I was in a dilemma on choosing what to eat and the owner shared what he preferred which wasnt the most expensive thing off the menu. Haha.
Shows the love he has for the food and people than the profit. Awesome.
I had Hash: its pulled pork and taters.. very well done, not overly salty. Well prepared.
Hot chocolate, theres the cadbury and whittakers options. Always nice to know there's a choice.
:)
Street parking.
Help urself to the water, by the counter.
All in all, an enjoyable brunch out.

We enjoyed a delicious pot of brewed tea and a delicious, freshly baked lemon blueberry muffin. They also offer a great all day brunch menu, and a great selection of pastries as well as barista coffees. Lovely, friendly staff. Only a short walk from central Dunedin, this is the perfect spot for a cuppa and snack.

A lovely café located inside the museum. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Just be prepared for some wait time during busy hours, both for ordering and getting your food or drinks. Still, it’s a nice place to relax while visiting the museum.

The Corner Store Cafe is one of those cozy little gems where you can actually mingle, slow down, and just enjoy a really good cup. The coffee was delicious.
The eggs on toast are highly recommended. Simple, satisfying, and done to perfection sometimes. That’s all you need.
Whether you're flying solo, catching up with a friend, or just want a moment to yourself, this spot has all the good vibes.
