This cafe is a few km from my house. It's inside Wals Plant Land, so I often go there when I need to buy something for my garden. The cafe is in a big garden; there is a lake, mini golf and mini train. It's a great spot for a relaxed meal with delicious food, amazing views and excellent service. I am intolerant to gluten, so I always have several gluten-free choices.

We were seated very promptly at lunch time, and the menu clearly states what can be made gluten-free. The young man serving us got us an extra plate when we said we would be sharing food without needing to be asked. He was also knowledgeable when I asked about where they sourced their gluten free bread from. We had the gluten-free French Toast, and the bread was nice and tall white bread and the bacon was nicely crispy. We also enjoyed some coffee and a GF Macadamia White Chocolate Caramel Slice (which I recommend!)

What a great place to have a meal. Great location and enjoyed sitting on outer deck area right next to the small lake. Meal was excellent as was the service.

Very great place for outing with friends or family. Good good , great service and there are in door outdoor tables. Staff was very friendly and great. Food was quick and tasty. After lunch we went for a walk around Wal's.
Plenty of park. Not far from Dunedin. And recommends for family with kids.

Wonderful location, beautiful spot by the lake and grounds. Food was delicious from the coffee to the burger and special hot dogs. Lovely wait staff who did an amazing job on a very busy lunch period.
