We stayed in Dunedin for three days and found ourselves at Tuppence Cafe for breakfast, tea, and coffee each morning of our stay. The food was spectacular and the environment and staff were warm, welcoming, and friendly. Definitely stop here!

“I went to Tuppence Café for my friend’s birthday and it was the BEST café in Dunedin… actually, the best café ever! The pancakes were SO yummy I wanted to eat them forever. The people were really nice and the café felt fun and special. I can’t wait to go back again. Tuppence Café is my new favourite place!” Nixon

Delightful café, nice and bright atmosphere.
The food, delish especially the pancakes, the flavors complement each other and not over sweet. Didn't wait long, I actually like better than Glenfalloch although they no longer do pancakes. We will be back to taste more of the yummy menu.

Lovely little cafe, with very nice staff. I will definitely be dining in again. I got the salmon eggs benedict. Delicious!
I also liked how the ingredients/allergens are written out under each cabinet food item. Good to know for us people with food allergies, much appreciated!

A lovely cafe with ample seating, quick service and great food. Their cabinet food is great (the Reubens are fantastic) and the menu also has some great options).
Their coffee is quite good and their barista always has a smile.
